Taylor's Emerging Talent Program: Professional Development Day
We recently held the second event of the year for our Emerging Talent Program, bringing together Cadets, Graduates, and Apprentices for a full day of industry learning and personal development.
Hosted at Taylor's head office, the day featured four sessions designed to broaden the cohort's understanding of the industry and support their professional growth.
Perfect Contracting opened the day with a presentation on demolition and asbestos removal methodologies, followed by AJC Architects, who walked the group through how initial concept designs are developed using Taylor's Kambala School project as a real-world example.
Megan Boazman, Taylor's Head of Design, then shared an insight into how the design function works at Taylor and the career pathways available within it - including the exciting possibility of a dedicated design cadet track. The day wrapped up with a Building Your Personal Brand workshop, a practical session focused on effective communication and professional presence.
The Emerging Talent Program is championed by Daniel Taylor and Sarah Roberts who continue to support the cohort as the program progresses through the year.
This second event reinforced Taylor's commitment to giving emerging talent real exposure to the industry - not just on site, but across the full range of disciplines that make a project come to life.
