Taylor has reached a significant milestone on the Tallawong High School project, completing the final concrete pour to mark the topping out of the new school's structure.

The project will deliver a brand new high school to a community that currently doesn't have one - a detail that sits at the heart of why this build matters. With primary schools already open in the area, Tallawong High School will complete the picture for families who have moved into a rapidly growing part of Western Sydney.

When complete, the school will be designed to support up to 1,000 students across three, three-storey buildings, housing 49 teaching spaces and three support learning units. Alongside the teaching areas, the school will feature a library, school hall, staff hub, and administrative areas, as well as two sports courts, a playing field, and open play spaces. A dedicated staff carpark with 72 spaces will also be delivered as part of the project.

The result will be a modern, inclusive, and flexible learning environment built for the needs of future students and educators - and a permanent piece of infrastructure for a community that is still taking shape.

The project is part of the NSW Government's $3.9 billion investment in new and upgraded schools across the region.
